Image Mosaic Tutorial Guide
The **Image Mosaic** tool allows you to easily pixelate or blur sensitive areas of your images to protect privacy or obscure proprietary information. It provides a simple way to apply the mosaic effect quickly and precisely.
1. Upload Your Image
Start by uploading the image you need to modify. The tool supports standard image formats like JPG and PNG.
Upload Options:
- Select Image: Click the dedicated upload button to choose a file from your device.
- Drag & Drop: Drag and drop your image file directly into the editor interface.
2. Select the Area for Mosaic
Once your image is loaded, you need to define the exact area where the mosaic effect should be applied.
Applying the Mosaic:
- The tool usually provides a selection cursor (often a rectangular or square tool).
- Click and drag your mouse over the specific region of the image you want to pixelate (e.g., a face, a license plate, a document number).
- The selected area will show a preview of the mosaic effect applied.
3. Adjust Mosaic Intensity (Pixelation Level)
You can control how strongly the mosaic effect is applied. Higher intensity means larger pixels and more blurring.
Mosaic Settings:
- Look for a **"Pixel Size"** or **"Intensity Slider"**.
- Low Intensity: Results in smaller, finer pixels, making the area slightly obscured but sometimes recognizable.
- High Intensity: Results in large, blocky pixels, ensuring the area is completely illegible and protected.
- Adjust the slider until the sensitive information is adequately obscured, while maintaining a visually acceptable result.
4. Download the Mosaic Image
After applying and confirming the mosaic effect on all necessary areas, you can save your final image.
Finalizing the Save:
- Click the **"Apply"** or **"Finish"** button to finalize the changes on the image.
- Then, click the **"Download"** button to save the new image to your device.
- The output file will maintain the original format (JPG or PNG) unless a different output option is provided.
