Crop Image Tutorial: Trim & Frame Photos
The Crop Image tool is designed to help you remove unwanted edges and focus on the most important parts of your photo. Whether you need a specific aspect ratio for social media or just want to improve the composition, this tool makes it easy.
1. Upload Your Image
Begin by loading the image you wish to edit:
Upload Options:
- Click Upload: Use the "Upload Image" button to browse your device for files.
- Drag and Drop: Simply drag the image file from your folder and drop it onto the tool's workspace.
2. Select the Crop Area
Define the new boundaries for your image:
How to Adjust:
- Manual Selection: A selection box will appear over your image. Click and drag the handles on the corners or sides to resize the box freely.
- Move Selection: Click inside the box and drag it to position the crop area over the subject.
- Aspect Ratios: If available, choose a preset ratio (like 1:1 for Square, 16:9 for Widescreen) to ensure standard dimensions.
3. Apply and Download
Once you are satisfied with the frame:
- Click the "Crop Image" button to apply the changes. The tool will trim away everything outside your selection.
- Preview the result.
