Join Images Tutorial: Combine Photos
The Join Images tool allows you to merge multiple photos into a single file easily. This is great for creating comparison shots, panoramic views, or simple collages without complex editing software.
1. Upload Multiple Images
To start, you need to select the images you want to stitch together:
Upload Options:
- Select Files: Click the "Upload Images" button and hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) to select multiple files at once.
- Drag & Drop: Drag all the images you want to join and drop them into the tool area.
2. Choose Arrangement & Settings
Decide how the images should be positioned:
- Vertical: Stacks images one on top of the other (good for long infographics or timelines).
- Horizontal: Places images side-by-side (perfect for before/after comparisons).
- Order: You can usually drag the thumbnails to rearrange the order in which they appear.
3. Merge and Download
Finalize your creation:
- Click the "Join Images" (or "Merge") button.
- Wait a moment for the processing to finish.
- Preview the result and click "Download" to save the new combined image.
Tips for Better Results
- Dimensions: For the best look, try to use images with similar heights (for horizontal joining) or widths (for vertical joining).
- File Size: Joining many large high-res photos creates a very large file. Consider resizing them first if the file is too big.
